| Out first product release is our unique starting upgrade HICAP | High Capacity All Copper DC Distribution Circuit We have 2 categories of HICAP kit. The standard kit uses conventionally shaped battery terminals. These kits fit most of the bikes. Retail on the standard 2 lead kit is $70 and the rider/mechanic price is $50 - ( 2 leads at a retail of $35.00 each) Retail on the standard 3 lead kit is $90 and the rider/mechanic price is $75 - ( 3 leads at a retail of $30 each - lower price due to buying 3 leads). Retail on the standard 4 lead kit is $110 and the rider/mechanic price is $85 - ( 4 leads at a retail of $27.50 each - lower kit price due to buying 4 leads). Many models of Ducati require specially shaped battery terminals which we have custom manufactured from seamless electrolytic copper. We then cut, drill and shape the terminals to fit each model of bike. Some Ducati kits also include custom copper hardware to maintain a full copper to copper flow path Retail for the custom Ducati kits is $149 and the rider/mechanic price is $120 - ( 1 lead at $30 retail and 2 custom configured leads at $59.50 each). All kits have very specific lengths of lead and you need to order the right kit for your bike. We do not include a lot of slack to minimize the chance of any fitment issues. Note that our kit measurements are based on stock bikes and if your bike has been modded in some way you might require a completely custom kit (if you've moved the position of the solenoid or are using a battery which is shorter or has different terminals posts or reversed posts etc). |
